NIKE AIR FORCE 1 HIGH SUPREME “FUTURA” // SATURDAY, 032710 RELEASE:
Futura done did it again! AF1 High Supreme, which means top notch construction and materials. This shoe is jam packed with details: folded seams, premium perforated leather upper, athletic mesh inner lining, silver ankle strap, baseball character on the tongue tag, baseball logo lace lock, clear ice outsole with “BE” (right) “TRUE” (left) on the bottom. This is the closest an AF1 High has come to the 25th Anniversary AF1 High, which is one of my all-time faves, so this is definitely in my sights, fam! Its just too clean to ignore! NIKE AIR FORCE 1 LOW PREMIUM “FUTURA” // SATURDAY, 032710 RELEASE:
This AF1 Premium is paired with the AF1 High Supreme above as part of a Baseball Furies type themed pack. Silver perforated leather upper. “Futura” handstyle tongue tag. “AF-1 ’82″ lace lock in Futura’s handwriting. Athletic mesh inner lining. Purple ice outsole with “BE” (right) “TRUE” (left) on the bottom. This might not shine as hard as the Supreme Hi but it is still a very fresh colorway-very Dinosaur Jr.-ish, which isn’t a bad colorway to be compared to at all. This shoe releases Saturday at KICKS/HI Makaloa.
FLYING COFFIN SPRING 2010:
This is one of the strongest seasons to date from Flying Coffin. The FC cap game has become one to check for every season as Jason has experimented with different prints (reflective 3M/glow-in-the-dark polka dots and pinstripes) and brims (leather and faux snake). The polka dot 5-panel caps match with the pocket tees of the same purple, reflective 3M or glow-in-the-dark polka dots. The photo print flower fill on the coffin logo and space fill on the “FLYING COFFIN” text are dope. It reminds of OG REAL skateboard tees from the early ’90s for some reason. I still have a box or two of my old skate tees and FUCT and BLIND shorts somewhere at my parents house.
