JACK PURCELL – SUMMER 2010:

Converse/Jack Purcell has consistently turnt out some of the best shoes the last couple of years. This white leather upper or distessed brown leather upper JP BRG OX takes cues from mens’ dress shoes with the upper details. The thick, EVA insole is very comfortable. An overall, very well styled shoe. Available now.

New Jack Purcell nubuck Boat Mid. The boat shoe is such a classic silhouette-it can be done properly so many ways and I’ll big up every last one of them. Available in either black or mushroom with tonal, raw leather laces. A beautiful, necessary shoe-in case you were holding off on picking up a boat shoe for the right one to come along. My vote for bests in the boat shoe category goes to: these JP Boat Mids, Sperry x Band of Outsiders or Vans Vault Chukka Del Barco LX.
