I’m gonna say it again, Converse has owned 90% of my shoe purchases this year, and I shop a lot. The styling and details in Converse products-especially in their First String offerings have been superb. I also appreciate the true limited edition nature of most of the FS releases – 90 pairs, 300 pairs worldwide is not many at all, and availability being only at select shops/boutiques showcase the product like how they are built to be that avenue. This JP Zipper features a zipper closure and/or lace up option. The upper is suede. The lining is a super soft calfskin. A super steezy shoe – to say the least. The beauty of this shoe is the numerous ways you can rock it: laced up + zipped up, laced up + zipped down, laced halfway + zipped halfway, etc. Or you can go the ultra-cool stylee with no laces and a Goro leather pull on the zipper. Oooooohweeeeeee!

CONVERSE “DUCK BOOT” CHUCK TAYLOR LOW:

These chucks are inspired by leather, hunting duck boots. A very interesting play for the chuck taylor silhouette. I like the ridged midsole and tonal brown leather upper. This is available in the shop right now and also via phone order: 808.941.9191.

NIKE QUICKSTRIKE: VINTAGE BLAZER MID // SATURDAY (10.30) RELEASE:

The first two colorways we received a couple month ago sold out in the first week, and these two colorways are much stronger than those. Just sayin’.

Brand new Manny Pacquiao t-shirts and Nike Trainer 1.2 Low releasing this Saturday (10.30) – just in time for the Margarito fight in mid November. If you are unfamiliar with boxing, Margarito is shrouded in controversy after being exposed for using plaster wrapped hand wraps against “Sugar” Shane Mosley in ’09. Margarito’s year long suspension is up, and this Pacquiao fight is the prequal to the real fight that boxing fans really want: Pacquiao vs Mayweather. Taking cues from the wild popular Wallabee crepe outsole, meet the AM1 Premium jumpoff. I’m feelin’ the tonal aspect of both colorways. Both uppers consist of leather + canvas with a synthetic hair check. The advantage of this crepe outsole vs a wallabee crepe outsole is that only the AM1 outsole is crepe’d out – the all crepe, everything aspect of the wallabee has lead to many a twisted ankle AKA the unintentional stanky leg. If you’re a wallabee head (word to the Wu), you already know what it is.
