NIKE BASKETBALL – KOBE VI “AQUA CAMO”:
I missed out on those Italian camo QS Kobe’s. Meh. These aqua camo VI’s are a pretty good consolation tho. At first I wasn’t too into this shoe, to be honest, but after shooting it and trying it on, I like this shoe a lot. The electric blue and electric lemonade yellow give this more of an ACG feel, which I am not mad at. At all. It definitely hit at the right time: summer – when you could rock it with shorts all day. Good stuff.

NIKE SB – JULY ’11 (EARLY! *FREEWAY VOICE*):
P.Rod 2.5 with black suede upper, gold check, white midsole.
Don’t adjust your screen, this Blazer is really this colorway, and by “this colorway” I meant: sulfer yellow midsole, check and laces. I don’t quite understand this colorway at all, but a couple kids just bought this shoe whilst I was prepping this newsletter so what do I know anyway?
Janoski low in a black canvas twill upper and white midsole. Janoski Mid in navy suede upper, white check and white midsole. You already know what it thizzz.
Dunk, Dunk, Goose. Haha. OK that was lame. Brand new Dunks, and yes, that red suede Dunk Hi is VERY RED.
Pretty much the best skate shoe out at the moment. All the homies that skate who have run the Koston 1 have sworn by this shoe: comfort, board feel, and styling. This all black, err’thang colorway is a winner.

BOGART – SUMMER ’11:
BOGART is one of our favorite new brands this year. From the extended Crooks & Castles family tree. I’m super feeling the graphics. I really like that their primary font is American Typewriter. So hood, so good.
BOGART “U$A” New Era fitted cap. Bangin’.
This is a new cinch back, one size fits all New Era from BOGART in heather grey, cotton twill, red corduroy or navy blue corduroy. Its a really good look if you got hair, but notsomuch with a shaved head. Or, I just have a misshaped noggin, and then, jokes on me. Awesome.

CONVERSE FIRST STRING – STAR TECH (PREVIEW – SATURDAY 07/02 RELEASE):
This coming Saturday (7/2) we will be releasing a new silhouette from Converse First String: the Star Tech. Its a ridiculously lightweight hi-top silhouette with drop in LUNERLON technology in the sole system. I’ll have more info and pics later on this week, but just a heads up on a great new First String release. And that Lunarlon drop in is ultra comfy. Next level stuff. Stay tuned.
