CONVERSE FIRST STRING “STAR TECH” – SATURDAY (7/1) RELEASE:
“The Star Tech is a heritage-inspired silhouette with an innovatively lightweight sole. The Star Tech’s cupsole utilizes a Lunarlon foam drop-in, while a rubber-wrapped midsole maintains Converse’s telltale vulcanized look. The outsole pattern evolves what began on the Star Tech sneaker’s predecessor the Straight Shooter, a ’70s sneaker that borrowed from All Star DNA. The iconic-made-modern vibe continues on the Star Tech’s retro-tech nylon upper which features sharp triangular accents and suede detailing on the toebox, heel and medial overlays. Finished with the Star Chevron logo and a cotton terry lining.” (via Converse First String).
The first thing you’ll notice about this shoe when you see it in person is that it is two sheets of folder paper light. Second, is that this shoe looks dope either with shorts or denim/chinos. We will have limited sizes available this Saturday (7/1). Doors open at 11A.

The “Paityn Buckle” is a creeper inspired model. Super fashion forward steez. Very Seditionary/Westwood.
I would definitely try and spit my really weak game at any girl I see rocking this “Baille Buckle Boot” jumpoff. Straight up. The crackled leather is dope. The buckles are fresh. The chain on the back does not detach, though, but I think its still a nice embellishment.

One of my favorite shoes of this past year: the Taka Hayashi Derby, in a charcoal grey. KILLER!

Vans Vault ‘Ol Skool. One of my all time favorite shoe silhouettes.
Vans Vault SK8-Hi Standard Issue LX. I have like 3 other colorways of this militarized SK8-Hi, so needless to say, I like this shoe. HEAT! (No Bosh).

NIKE SB – JULY ’11 “BRICK & MORTAR” SHOES:
In case you didn’t know, Nike SB has “Brick and Mortar” shoes which are only available via select shops that DO NOT retail Nike SB products online or via any type of phone order, which is what KICKS/HI qualifies as.

Made in Italy. Super stuntastic and very well crafted. The silhouette is uniquely Black Scale’s but obviously on trend with sunglasses I’ve seen this season from Dior Homme, Marc Jacobs and the like. SSSolution already called this as his summer shades, and we live in Hawaii which is 24/7/365 summer so you do the math…
